ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) - Students Chapter, SNGCE
The forty-sixth students’ chapter of ISHRAE at SREE NARARYNA GURUKULAM COLLEGE OF ENGG was established on the 20th of september 2008. With forty eight students member, SNGCE became the first Engineering College in Kerala to do so. The inaugural ceremony titled LAGRELE was presided by Prof. (Dr.) C.E. Krishnan, Principal, SNGCE. The chapter was inaugurated by Mr Pankaj Shah, Regional Director, ISHRAE(South). He delivered the keynote address titled Engineering Trends in the HVAC Industry and the concept of green building. The inaugural ceremony was followed by an intercollegiate quiz competition named CONCURSO, participated by Mechanical Engineering students of various colleges from South India.
Further to installation subsequently Seminars, Workshops, technical competitions and technical talks have been conducting regularly. Interested Students from the Mechanical engineering branch and other streams have been actively associating with activities of ISHRAE
