Sree Narayana Gurukulam
College of Engineering
was established in the
year 2002 by Kunnathunadu S.N.D.P Union,
head quartered at Perumbavoor
with a view to accomplish the ideals of
Sree Narayana Guru (1855-1928),
the great sage and social reformer who is
considered as the leader of Indian
Renaissance movement.

Education accorded sanction for offering

B.Tech courses in

ENGINEERING
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS
ENGINEERING
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION
ENGINEERING
in the institution from the academic year
2002-2003 .The sanctioned intake for all
the courses are 60 each and the institution
is affiliated to MAHATMA
GANDHI UNIVERSITY ,KOTTAYAM.
After considering the pace
of development and infrastructure creation
within the first two years AICTE had sanctioned
B.Tech course in
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
and MBA PROGRAMME
to this institution during 2004 itself.
The sanctioned intake for both the new courses
being 60 each.
The sincere efforts of the GURUKULAM TRUST
in creating state of the art infrastructure,
dedicated highly qualified senior faculty,
disciplined campus, opportunity for co-curricular
activities, emphasis on personal development
of each student has earned quick reputation
for the institution. This in turn made it
possible for us to find placement for all
most all eligible students from the very
first batch itself. The placement and training
division could establish linkages with reputed
recruiters from campus.
The image of the institution
is further strengthened when AICTE has accorded
sanction for One more BTech course
CIVIL ENGINEERING-
and also increased the intake of other three
courses. Thus the institution offers the

The institution spreads
over 40 acres of greenery at Kadayirippu,
in the close vicinity of cochin inter national
air port. The constructed area in the campus
is 185,000 square feet. The library has
12000 volumes of reference books and more
than100 journals The computer laboratories
houses a total of 330 computers. Asianet
provides dedicated internet connectivity
of 1mbps in the internet center and students
with blue tooth can access internet from
anywhere in the campus including women’s
hostel.
