Networking plays a key role in the success of a professional. IEEE branch at SNG provide an ideal forum for students to network with professionals all over the world and share learning resources
with them.

ISTE Chapter
Indian Society for Technical Education is the professional body of technical teachers of our country. As an institution interested in developing the intellectual capital of our faculty, we took institutional membership of ISTE.

ISTE Students Chapter
ISTE student’s chapter of SNG was inaugurated on 29september 2004. The ISTE student’schapter plays a key role in creating technical fervour among our students.
Entrepreneurship Development Club Sustained industrial development and employment creation capability depends on the stock of entrepreneurial manpower in a country. A country like India with more than ten billion population must embrace entrepreneurship to a greater extends to eradicate poverty and unemployment. It is easy to incu-lcate entrepreneurial culture among technical students. Hence this institution has tied up with Kerala institute of entrepreneurship development to nurture latent entrepreneurial talent in our students.

National Service Scheme
Empathy is an essential quality for a professional. The concern for people around us can be inculcated among students only if the campus offers opportunity for students to establish meaningful linkages with the local community. The NSS unit of our college place an active role in shaping our students humane and responsible citizens.

Explora
It is the association of electronics and communication engineers of the campus the forum helps the students to exchange expertise with industry and sharing of experience with technocrats and R&D people.Seminars and paper presentations are a regular feature of the association’s program.

Vidhyut Tharang
Practice is the art of applying theory. Expertise in professional practice can be attained only through continuous effort and application. Interaction with experts give students opportunity to learn finer points of practice and hence an edge over other freshers. Vidhyut Tharang takes the responsibility of planning and executing industry institute interface for electrical and electronics department.

NETSKATERS
Design competitions, quiz, technical sessions, experience sharing sessions, new product introduction sessions, design competitions, paper presentations, intra class competitions, inter departmental competitions,
south India inter collegiate IT festival – net skaters are busy throughout the year exploring ways to provide food for thought for the inquisitive minds of computer department. The quest for providing opportunities for its members to prove their organising capability is lauded by every one in the campus.

Bonzers 2005
The South Indian Inter engineering college IT festival brings IT wizards from different part of the country to SNG campus. For three days the participants get lots of opportunity to compare their intellect, test their technical skills, design skills, problem solving skills and presentation skills with that of their contemporaries
from other institutions.

M/s Synthite Industrial Chemicals Kadayiruppu has selected our institution for awarding higher education scholarship for professional colleges. They sponsor the tuition fees one engineering student of our college every year

College Students Council
India being the Mecca of democracy, it is essential to train the youth about the healthy democratic processes and practices. Democratic functioning of social institutions is a must for building trust and winning confidence of stakeholders of any institution. We at SNG ensure students get their share in decision-making
process through due consultations with the elected students representatives in the college students council.

We Indians have a unique culture, which patronise music dance and other traditional performing arts.Kerala also has a rich heritage of classical performing arts. We SNG tries to promote these forms with the core education stream for developing the total personality of our students.
