Objectives
• To provide managerial skill development
facility to the youth in India so as to
enable them to confidently take up managerial
assignments in any part of the world.

concepts through conceptual and applied
management research and training.
•To help fine-tune the managerial
efficiency of working executives by providing
them the chance to familiarise with new
tools, techniques and practices.
•To network with other learning centres
with similar vision and mission and to exploit
the synergy of such collaborations to the
cause of management education and research.
•To act as a catalyst in shaping the
public policy of the state and national
government which affects the quality of
life of the people.
Department
of Management studies
Department of management studies was established
in 2004 with the ambition to become the
best campus in Kerala for management education
under the private sector. We aim at “developing
managers with ethics, who are Indian to
the core, Global in their thinking and accepted
universally”.
Unemployment and industrial backwardness
are the widely debated social issues in
Kerala .We see light at the end of the tunnel.
We could see slow but steady march towards
evolution of a new developmental agenda
for the industrial resurgence of Kerala.
Kochi being the nerve centre of all industrial
activities in Kerala, we want to place ourselves
as a catalyst for the metamorphosis of a
new developmental paradigm in Kerala.
The department offers a
two-year full time residential MBA course
approved by All India Council for Technical
Education. New Delhi and affiliated to Mahatma
Gandhi University.Kottayam.

Administration (MBA) Programme
The MBA (Full Time) programme of the Mahatma
Gandhi University shall be for a duration
of 2 years spread over 4 Semesters.
